Maria Graff was first married by Rev. John Waldschmidt on May 1760 To Jacob Dummy (Thoma) (probably Thomas), a son of Durst Dummy (Thodorus Thoma). Father-in-law Jacob Graff remarked in his will that Georg Schambach the Elder had peculiar habits for which he had concern about his ability to provide for his daughter Urshel.
